Three services, no fee.

01 · Loss notification

We tell you when something happens

When we identify market losses in your portfolio that may stem from corporate fraud or misconduct, we notify you promptly — explaining what we have identified, why it may be actionable, and what your options are.
02 · Investigation matching

We watch the announcements so you don't

We review your holdings against our active and emerging investigations. If we open an investigation in a company you hold, you hear from us — without having to monitor announcements yourself.
03 · Claim assistance

We help you claim what you're owed

If a class action settles in a case where you are a class member, we assist filing the claim form. Many class members never claim their share of a settlement because they don’t know they’re eligible. We make sure our monitoring clients do.

A short note when something happens. Otherwise: silence.

02

We review

We review your holdings against our investigation pipeline — monitoring SEC filings, market events, and regulatory actions that may implicate companies you hold.
03

We notify if relevant

If we identify a potential issue affecting your holdings, we contact you directly with what we’ve found and your options. Most matches do not become cases.
04

You decide

Whether to retain us — or any other firm — is your decision. There is no obligation, and submitting your portfolio for monitoring does not retain us as your counsel.

Why investors use this service.

Federal-court-trained advocacy
Our managing partner clerked on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and trained at Venable LLP. Securities cases are federal-court cases — we approach them with the procedural rigor that environment requires.
Contingency model
If a monitored loss leads to a viable case and you choose to retain us, we work on contingency. There is no out-of-pocket cost — ever — for either the monitoring service or the underlying representation.
Direct attorney access
When we identify a potential issue affecting your holdings, you hear from a lawyer at this firm. Not a screener, not an intake center.

Frequently asked.

Is this really free?
Yes. There is no fee for monitoring. Our representation in shareholder cases is on a contingency-fee basis — we are paid out of any recovery we secure. If there is no recovery, you owe us nothing.

Your portfolio data is visible only to attorneys and authorized firm staff working on monitoring and investigation matters. It is not shared with third parties, not sold, and not used for any purpose other than the monitoring service.

Brokerage statement uploads are stored on encrypted servers. Access is restricted to firm personnel with a business reason for access, and the firm’s data-security practices are subject to routine audit. See our Privacy Policy for full detail.
No. Submitting your portfolio for monitoring does not retain Amparo as your counsel. If we identify a potential case in your portfolio, we’ll tell you what we’ve found. Whether to retain us, retain another firm, or not pursue the matter at all is your decision.
Yes. Pension funds, endowments, family offices, and other institutional investors are particularly well-suited to the service — both because of portfolio size and because the PSLRA lead-plaintiff process was designed to encourage institutional participation. Institutional enrollment includes direct attorney contact.
